Haden Edwards House

I recently stayed two weeks at Haden Edwards House. I so very much enjoyed the whole time. I’ve stayed in both the Virginia Room and the Red Brick Room. Both were clean, quiet, and cool and comfortable. The beds were very nice. Bathrooms were also clean and everything worked well. The living room, TV and dining rooms were nice and clean and cool with very nice couches and a beautiful oak dining room suite! I found the kitchen well appointed and useful for making eating meals. There is an excellent washer dryer of the side of the kitchen. Staff were very responsive and helpful when I needed something. The house is so close to great downtown restaurants and shops. I walked a short 5 to 10 minutes for things. I’ll be happy to stay here often. Thanks for a great two weeks!

A lovely home in the perfect location! The “Edward’s Room” was very spacious, with a mini fridge, dining table, 2 beds, private bathroom and lots of natural light coming in. Easy access to the shared balcony with a beautiful view of the courtyard. We packed a light breakfast and enjoyed it in the gazebo. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Stayed in the Edward's Suite upstairs and loved it! The upstairs balcony had a nice view-- we had drinks in the gazebo and just enjoyed the beauty of the building and the place. Walking distance from Fredonia Brewery. Super comfy bed and dishes/refrigerator space made it easy to make ourselves at home.

My boyfriend came to visit me at Nacogdoches. And we decided to stay at Haden. I’m glad we did it! The person who managed Haden was super friendly and helpful every time we needed something. We stayed in the “Hill” room, very clean and very comfortable to stay at. We felt like home. Once we told them, the manager and the owner. They were very kind, knowing that we were college students. Highly recommended! It’s very close to downtown and you can walk to a lot of places. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Blueberry Room at Haden Edwards House - When we first arrived at 4pm, one hour after check-in, the room was not cleaned. I had to call the host and Vrbo to get them to send out a cleaner. The cleaning lady was so sweet and she did a great job, even though we didn't get into the room until 6pm. The host admitted that they overlooked there were 2 separate bookings for the one weekend, which would need to be cleaned in between. While in the room, we noticed that it was significantly warmer in the room than the shared spaces. We turned the celing fan on and it was not working. There was no thermostat for The Blueberry Room. We were only in the room for an hour before we made the decision to just find other accomodations for the night. After contacting the host and Vrbo, they both claim a r
