Recently made a weekend getaway trip to Queens and happened to stopby in town and heard incredible rave about this spot. Being someone who loves an authentic chicken over rice platter this place didn’t fail to impress me in any way. I did receive delivery for the food but from the quality of the rice and chicken to the quantity of portion and the amazing scent of the food impressed me big time even to the extent that my family members decided to buy. Overall positive experience and next time I swing to queens I will make sure to drop a visit!!

This place has some of the best chicken over rice I’ve had. The flavor is consistently great every time I go or get it delivered, and it really hits the spot when I’m getting lunch or dinner. The store itself is always clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

The quality of the food is great here. Normally I have the chicken platter which comes with fries and cucumbers and tomato for $13. They are generous with the sauces. The employees are great and attentive. A good amount of people I know eat here.

Food and service is really good. The food is fresh and they add extra sauce. Great portions, basically 2 meals when you buy a platter. Platter comes with fries and Jerk Chicken isn’t traditional spices, but is still very good. Easy to order in person on the Kiosk, would definitely recommend food here. Lemon Pepper wings were the best part of the meal, definitely come here for the wings

Let me start with this. We went to three different places before fate led us to Halal Grill on Springfield and Merrick in Queens and it was destiny. I had never tried this spot before but Queens was clearly keeping this gem a secret from me. I am a variety girl. I am a condiments girl. I am a toppings queen. This place understood the assignment. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice because why choose when you can have both. Not only does it come with salad but it also comes with fries. Salad and fries together is balance if you ask me. The tomato cucumber mix was seasoned to perfection. I had to add raw onions because texture is life and by the time I got home they had mellowed into the perfect kick. The pickles were amazing.
