Half Cracked Tiki Shack

I’m not sure what I really expected, but I really didn’t expect to have a great meal here. And I probably wouldn’t even leave this review except for how kind and helpful the server was, Samantha. She helped me order my two dishes and I loved each. First I had calamar. She told me that was hand cut in the shape of fries right in the kitchen. The other dish I had was fish tacos per her recommendation and they were amazing. I can say I don’t think they looked as good as they tasted, but they really we’re great. Here’s a hint. The half cracked sauce was really spicy with not a whole lot of flavor, but when I added ketchup to it it was amazing. So if you’re staying at Sunseeker or even if you’re not, you’ll enjoy the food cook at this tiki themed restaurant called half cracked.

Crab cakes... $22.50 for 2 flat small crab cakes. Are you serious. Tasted ok but not worth the money. Tae the waitress, was the sweetest human on earth with great service and the new manager was great. But with prices and small portions like this with a new limited menu do not see myself coming back EVER. oh and they are open even though the hours on Google say they aren't?

A couple of days ago, my wife and I went out to celebrate our monthly romantic dinner. This restaurant had been recommended to us, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. We were attended by Miss Gisella, who, after listening to our preferences, quickly recommended some delicious dishes that we absolutely loved. Our evening was perfect — the food and the service were both excellent. We truly had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place for romantic dates, gatherings with friends, or simply for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal and a pleasant atmosphere.

Our server was nice. The hostess was all over the place abd didnt know if she was coming or going and didnt know what was going on. Once we were seated we didnt see our server for at least 10 - 15 mins. Once we ordered our entres it took over an hour for them to come out I ordered the fish and chips it was good but not $31 good. Hubby ordered fish tacos ... $20 for 3 small ones , he said they wernt bad. Daughter ordered steak cooked to BLUE RARE it came out medium rare. Didn't have the time to send it back. This was a tuesday night..... & they wernt even busy. Being someone that has worked in the food industry i would say this was a calm evening. We ordered Gator bites as an app. They were good but could have came out hotter than they were. Again the server was nice. She definitel

So we are at Half Cracked Tiki Shack. We originally planned on eating breakfast at the American grill across the hall but they don't serve breakfast anymore. I came specifically for the blueberry pancakes. I had them before and they were GREAT! So I ordered them. The waitress was less than helpful although she finally went into the kitchen to ask. She came back and said we have blueberry syrup and we can put blueberries on the side. My reply was if they can put them on the side why can't they put them in the batter. She said that's what they said. Not being in the mood to ask for the manager and go thru that first thing in the morning. I ordered something else. But that is absolutely ridiculous, especially at the prices of things here. Customer service is horrible and they just don't care
