Halligan's Bar and Grill

Such an odd place! Lights as bright as someone’s late evening living room, totally uninterested waitress with a concerning cough, watery cocktail, and one of the most inedible plates of food (calamari) I’ve ever had. In my 33 years and 43 countries, I’ve never tasted a flavor combination as bizarre as fried calamari, white wine soy sauce, unseasoned tomatoes, canned black olives, and sliced banana peppers from a jar. It was an explosion of very unpleasant salt and squish in my mouth and I’d like to never experience it again for as long as I live. The steak bomb was totally mid and wasted reheated, 5/10. The fish and chips wasn’t bad because it tasted like it was at least fried to order and the slaw was good, 7/10. 2 stars for the fish and because they took the calamari off the bill. Ove

We reserved the back room for our Fantasy Football Super Bowl Party. The owner, Brett, a 33 year veteran of the N. Attlebourgh fire department, and his team were amazing and accommodating. We enjoyed several of the appetizers, all delicious, great beer and drink selections, and the room was perfect for our group. The atmosphere was electric in both rooms during the Pats game. It is a Perfect place to enjoy dinner or enjoy a cocktail with friends. I highly recommend Halligan’s.

Great great place. Best fish and Chips with a great portion. Fries are great. Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Atmosphere is filled with laughter with people meeting up with each other. The owner is very friendly and always intentive. Always a smile for customers. I give it a 10….

Ordered short ribs as the special tonight. Got pot roast. Got told by both bartenders it was short ribs. Love their food usually but would have gotten the fish and chips if we had known. Old enough to know the difference. Not happy. Still was really good for pot roast. Pricey for pot roast and get told it still was short ribs. You decide.

Tried burger and it was very good. Very nice bar waitstaff. Parking lot is small as it’s in a neighborhood. I’d recommend.
