Hampton Library

I am an author who has one of the most powerful stories of overcoming a lifetime of trauma and resilience. I’m spending the winter in Bridgehampton and called Emily in November wanting to do a speaking engagement. She never called me back, so I went in to the library to meet her in person introduce myself. When I got there, the other librarians, along with Emily could not have been any more rude, disparaging, and disrespectful. I’m glad they didn’t ask me to speak, it has the most negative toxic atmosphere. They deserve zero stars! My book is being sold in the national Institute of health bookstore ( NIH ) That’s how powerful my story is, so being turned down by a library was very insulting

Staff is incredibly well read, kind and cares about library users like they are family.
