Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

I finally tried Handel's when there was no line and it was good. They have a big selection of flavors and lots of different ice cream options i.e. shakes, malts, floats, sundaes, etc. I was happy to see that they had a 4 scoop sampler and opted for that. The chocolate was rich in flavor, butter pecan was nutty and tasted more natural versus store bought, the NY Cheesecake had lots of cheesecake chunks and the Graham Central Station also had plenty of graham crackers. You really have to like graham crackers for this one. It seems like they do not skimp on the ingredients. Their prices were very reasonable but one thing that fooled me was the size of the scoops. I ordered the Blue Monster for my niece and when they asked if I wanted 4 scoops, I thought it was ridiculous to get that much

I stopped by yesterday and the line was long . The service was fast plus the time helps to pick a choice on which ice cream flavor you want or want to try. I took a friend and she can’t believe how amazing good her ice cream was (s’mores) I always get the monkey business it is bananas with brownies.

We love coming here. Rain or shine it doesn’t matter. Recommend the coffee cookie, and orange dream cream. The mango flavor is refreshing and we also had the seasonal flavor of the month. 11/10!

It's one of my favorite spots to grab ice cream. They have a lot of delicious choices and options. They even carry a few lactose free choices and even a scoop for your doggy. My friend and I both grabbed a 4 scoop sampler to try more flavors. Our favorites were the Taro and the praline pecan.

I was craving a dessert and this was nearby. I had a scoop of their pineapple coconut and pistachio. Both were delicious and fulfilled my sweet cravings. Solid ice cream shop to visit in Downey. I’d definitely come back again to try their other flavors
