Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Temecula

I tried this ice cream parlor for the first time and I felt like a kid again especially seeing all of the flavors. I love how they have a mini scoop sampler so I could try 4 flavors at the same time. I got pistachio, mint Oreo, animal cookie, and graham station. They all tasted so good that I finished all of it lol. And it didn’t feel heavy but light and flavorful. You can absolutely tell the ice cream is homemade and not full of preservatives. The girl behind the counter was so sweet and patient, helpful and answered questions. I felt welcomed and not rushed trying to pick what I wanted. I got a cone so I could break off prices and use them to scoop up ice cream like nachos and highly recommend doing it like that. We’re visiting from out of state, looking forward to some Thrifty ice cream and I was shocked to find out they had just gone bankrupt and closed a couple weeks before our trip. I had no idea! I was so sad and I thought there’s no other place to eat amazing good old fashioned ice cream anymore . Then my wonderful hubby wanted to cheer me up and found this Handel’s ice cream place. I was SO skeptical but after reading about the product history and traditional company values I agreed to try it. I AM SO glad I did! Their flavor variety blew my mind! Sooooo much more than I could even ask for!!! Absolute tastebud dreams… we had banana cream pie and apple pie. Did not disappoint! Try it!

Took the kids for a sweet treat after dinner and this place definitely didn't disappoint. Its right next to the mall, and easy time finding parking. I ordered the smallest cone they had, expecting a single scoop but they loaded it up. More than I wanted, but can't complain if you get more than you expected. Pumpkin, and oreo-mint was excellent and price was reasonable for the quality and amount. A lot of options on the menu and fast service, minimal wait time makes this place worthy of return visits. Check them out you won't be disappointed!

Ice cream parlor making hand crafted ice cream which they give out in HUGE servings! The service at the store is very friendly. Huge servings do not make a difference if the ice cream doesn't taste good, and fortunately the ice cream here delivers when it comes to taste! The nice cream was very smooth and buttery, and they give you a choice of sizes and either a sugar cone, waffle cones in various styles, and waffle bowls (my recommendation for less of a mess). The small here is anything but...they do not skimp on the scoops here. Definitely a family favorite especially during the hot summers here in Temecula, and will be making repeat visits here.

The wait was long, but the ice cream was delicious! There are so many flavors to choose from it was hard to decide. I went with the Salted Caramel truffle on a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It did not disappoint. I cant wait to go back and try more flavors!
