The line of kids old and young tells you this place has great ice cream and is a family tradition in these parts. The fun part is their featured flavors and unique choices.. there is truly something for everyone and plenty of vessels to choose from to contain all the creamy goodness.. from cones, sundaes, shakes, splits, and the choices go on and on. The employees working here are local kids and they always provide great friendly service. The line can be a little wait at times but they are hand scooping every order and giving you personal service so Handel's is well worth the wait. Prices are reasonable for the very high quality. We love visiting Handel's Homemade Ice Cream. Handel's is a California Classic! They make HIGH quality Ice cream and are extremely affordable. Even if there is a line it is worth the wait. Whenever someone visits us from out of town we take them to Handel's. I highly recommend Handel's and will definitely be back!

This location has a giant National Geographic poster in a window that has a list of the 10 Best Ice Creams in the world. Rightfully so, Handel's was listed as number one. I've had ice cream near and far, and nothing comes close to Handel's. It truly is the best ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. I tried Coconut Cream Pie on my last visit.

Be careful, this ice cream shop will run your credit card twice without your permission. If you ask for a plain cone they will add a tip and run the credit card even without you knowing. I got 2 charges but only 1 receipt and when called the "manager" a young girl called Alexis acted like that is normal, like I should have known they can run my credit card twice without my authorization

I understand the long line.. Absolutely delicious flavors! The birthday cake and cotton candy were my fav! Will return 😋🍨
