This tiny shop is so small that they only have a place to sit outside. A lot of customers thus buy takeout. For such a small shop, though, they pack a lot of flavor. Their specialties are Korean-style meats paired with rice and sides. I highly recommend their Handsome Rice, which serves as a sort of sampler for all the meats they serve: spicy jeyuk, bulgogi, LA galbi, and chicken. For me, the galbi outshines all the others and is the singular must-have. It tastes better than some KBBQ spots, well-marinated, and grilled to order. They also offer dessert and dumplings. Dumplings come crispy and well-filled. Very tasty and with a dipping sauce that complements it well.
Really disappointing to find a piece of plastic in the food. It was in the salad, and honestly I'm lucky I was able to spot it before eating it because it is soft plastic and blends in with the rest of the food. For the price you pay, I would expect much better quality control (not to mention portions, which others have talked about in their reviews). I would suggest caution against eating here unless you don't mind plastic in your meal.
The “bibimbap” was a cold salad of broccoli, eggplant, carrots cucumbers, and leaves. No dressing except the Korean hot paste. Rice on the side. This is not even close to what a bibimbap is, why call it such? The man at the counter could not have been any less friendly or disinterested if he tried.
This is the second time we’ve come for the double burgers and the french fries with no salt well done, truffle sauce, and garlic sauce on the side. Also, they’re special. Korean aïoli was just terrific. Very nice dedicated workers and the uniformity of each hamburger is delightful. The buns are potato buns, lettuce, and tomatoes and you could have the sauce on it too. Next time I’m gonna try the banana pudding come and enjoy. It’s a hidden little secret. It’s a small building with a white painted front. Thank you.I’m
This has to be the best food I’ve had in a while. Handsome Rice is serving up modern Korean comfort food and it’s really good. I ordered the Handsome rice meal and Kim chi Mac and cheese. You get all Korean meats with this meal (Chicken, Short Rib, Rib Eye, And Pork) stacked on Korean purple rice with a salad on the side. My favorite meat had to be the rib eye. It was my first time trying purple rice and it was a really good base for this dish. The potatoes in the salad were so good. Covered in a pesto sauce and adding that refreshing taste.I love how the portions are just right and you get a healthy balance of protein, carbs, and veggies. Then the Kim chi mac and cheese was no joke. It wasn’t like your average mac and cheese. I love how they mixed Kim chi within the noodles. Korean fus
