Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Hands down the best!! The food is so fricking tasty. Every bite of any item on the menu and I've tried all has your taste buds exploding. Everything on the menu is freshly cooked while you wait & worth it. The amount of food and portion sizes that you get per price is unbeatable. The photo of the loaded mac & cheese, was loaded w/plenty of chicken. If you are a spicy daredevil, Hangry Joe's will set your palate on fire. Darrius has the absolute best attitude. Never entered when he wasn't, friendly, singing or smiling and he makes the best milkshakes. This is the Ft Wash MD location but have multiple locations cross the DMV, Jefferson Davis Hwy VA, Crane Hwy MD, Waldorf, MD, etc. I just found one on Duke street in VA. No matter where I am if I see a Hangry Joe's, I'm stopping.

Best chicken spot in the area by far. Super flavorful stays open late and extremely reasonable prices. High quality chicken sandwiches.And despite the name they have chicken that's not spicy. Got a 50 piece wings and two chicken sandwiches. Their chicken sandwhich can give Popeyes a run for their money.

This place always disappoints me with their rules. They wont let me simply pay extra for what I want. It’s either their way or get out! Luckily they are right next door to another chicken place! Is it too difficult to get my 2 piece dark? NO. Their 2 pieces only come with white meat!! Can I buy an additional piece of chicken? NO. I used to go here 2 or 3 times a week, but now I have abandoned them because of their stupid rules.

The establishment was very clean, workers were very nice. The food was delicious, I got a combo 1, and the sandwich was perfectly seasoned. I got mild and it wasn’t that spicy at all, edible. This place is also Halal!

Terrible experience at this location. The young African American cashier at the front had a rude attitude and zero sense of customer service — seemed annoyed just to be doing their job. On top of that, the food came out cold and way too salty. Totally disappointing all around. Won’t be coming back.
