Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Visited this place recently. The restaurant looks clean and modern, but the experience was disappointing. I asked the staff for a recommendation. He told me this bowl doesn’t need sauce, so I followed his suggestion. But the food turned out very bland. It was mostly plain rice with lettuce and a few pieces of chicken, with almost no flavor. As someone working in the food industry, I felt the staff should know the menu better and guide customers properly. A simple sauce or seasoning could have made the bowl much better. Good space, but the food and service need improvement.

This location serves halal chicken. We have been to other location in Charlotte. Its much better than the one in High point. This one was not too bad, However they do need some improvement. Chicken sandwish was huge but had really no flavor to the meat. Without sauce you cant really taste anything. Seating is decent but too close together. Would give their wings a try next time.

Went around midnight since not many places in Greensboro are open that late. The lady who took our order didn’t seem interested, and they ended up messing up what we asked for. We ordered the Sando combo but got wings instead 😩. We also ordered the barbecue spicy wings with mac n’ cheese, which actually tasted pretty good. Tried the banana pudding too, but it tasted more like straight banana rather than that classic pudding vibe. Overall, it was kind of a hit-or-miss experience. You’d think a new place would try a bit harder to deliver great service.

The chicken was great. Cooked well and it was fresh. We enjoyed everything we got. But service was a bit rude, and the place inside is small. Pick up or delivery is best.

I have been hearing about the great chicken from this business and it is true. Today we got, wing, sandwiches, slaw, and drinks for lunch and to take home for dinner. It was all excellent. The service was efficient and friendly although I don't like having to place the order myself.
