Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

First of all, the place was full of smoke due to a lack of proper ventilation. I ate at the Naperville location and the wings were very lightly seasoned. While ordering, I clearly asked the lady to keep them wet with extra sauce. When I informed the guy at the register that the wings were not seasoned properly, he just said sorry and still charged me for extra sauce. I don’t mind paying, but it’s frustrating when the job wasn’t done correctly in the first place. This kind of service will only bring a business down. I have the bill if needed.

Visited the Hangry Joe’s Naperville location with a group of 10. The food itself was just okay nothing memorable. The wings were under-seasoned, so I politely asked for some sauce on the side. The owner reacted like I’d made an unreasonable demand and then charged an extra $1 for it, which felt unnecessary and unfair. We could’ve easily sent the wings back instead. Things didn’t improve from there. When we asked for plates, I said we needed six and got a strange, uncomfortable look, as if that was somehow excessive. The restroom was poorly maintained no tissue paper, the sink was clogged, and on a snowy day there was no wet floor sign. My kids nearly slipped, which is unacceptable. Overall, average food, but the attitude made the experience unpleasant. Customer service matters, and here

When I eat here I order the chicken and waffles. The chicken is always good and I’ve never had any issues with it. However, the waffles have consistently been very hard each time I’ve gone. Because of that, I’ve stopped ordering here altogether. Also, they only provide one syrup for the entire meal, and any additional syrup comes at an extra charge. Overall, the chicken is solid, but the waffles and syrup situation could definitely be improved.

Tried Hangry Joe’s and it absolutely delivered. The chicken was hot, crispy, and well-seasoned without being greasy. Heat levels are legit, so if you like spice, you’ll be happy. Portions were solid, everything came out fresh, and the flavors were on point. Service was quick and friendly, and the place had a good vibe, casual, no nonsense, just good food done right. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving hot chicken. Highly recommend.

First time here and was very happy. All chicken is halal which is a huge plus not just for obvious reasons but from a quality standpoint. I had their signature chicken sandwich and an order of the chicken and waffles. I ordered my sandwich mild spice and was the perfect amount of heat. The waffle fries were seasoned and tasted delicious. The waffles were incredible and not dry. The batter used resembled a funnel cone. Portion sizes were excellent and the prices made for a great deal. Had to gonna k again and try the spicy garlic chicken nuggets , fantastic and spicy
