Hank's Tavern on the River

We went for a late lunch I had the big salad..yes it was big enough I got full I added steak to the salad.there was enough of everything in the salad I wasn't eating just lettuce at the end. My husband got the cod basket he said his fish was really good. The fries had breading and were crisp .I will be going back again. we are back again I had the New York with mashed and green beans,the gravy was homemade and flavorful. I like my steak well and it was well and juicy and tender.

I followed the reviews, the reviews were right! Great food, great drinks, great service, and a great first time at Hank's. In fact, so good that we returned the following evening! This is one of the spots where you're immediately comfortable as soon as you walk in. Great menu, robust cocktails, personable service. You can quite simply like literally everything about this place.

Met my Elkhart cousins here and we all enjoyed the food and vibe. The server was accommodating about moving us to a table when I found the booth to be uncomfortable. Good walleye!

We’ve been coming to Hank’s Tavern a couple of times a week over the last few weeks, and it has quickly become one of our go-to spots. It’s a great place for a quick lunch, and it’s also been a good, easy stop with the kids for dinner. The food has consistently been very good, and the service has been even better. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes us feel welcome every time we come in. We definitely plan to keep coming back!

I really liked it. The food was really tasty and the service was really attentive and fast. Really laid-back atmosphere with TVs and such. The table and chairs were comfortable. I like the layout of this place is kind of cool and unique. One of a kind kind of places. I put slightly difficult to find parking, but that was mostly because the place was really busy, which is a good sign. It's obviously a popular place.
