Intake for the shelter was done very promptly by Miss. Walker. Miss butler the nighttime weekly staff is AMAZING and so warm hearted. I have a family of 6 including a 3week old and the Staff treat me and my Fiancé with respect and give me privacy. As far as resources and case management, St. Vincent DePaul needs to do some work, dig a bit deeper and reappropriate funding. They NEED a CERTIFIED chef. The ladies whom run the shelter , do their best. Always speak to me with dignity and respect. I would suggest (if given a choice) to pick Hannah More shelter over the Eastside Family Resource Center. I hope this helps a needy family when preparing to enter or chose a Shelter for their family when speaking with Baltimore county Department Of Social Services Coordinated Entry. This family shelter

April Wright Ferguson- Is the reason why turn over is so high ! This lady is an abuser, she grooms you in the beginning & then shows her true careless and toxic personality as time moves on. She knows she doesn't 100% care about the well being of the residents, she cares about the money from the government ! My advice get rid of April and bring in fresh insite

There is one “nurse” in particular that is always very rude and acts as if she knows what she is talking about when she doesn’t . Today I sat in the waiting area for almost two hours just to go back with the nurse for her to tell me she would not help me . Sheesh for a free health clinic she sure does have one heck of an attitude. My advice to you is to find a new job as I do go here often I will not go back as long as she works there . I will take myself to planned parenthood any day over going to this dump again .

Abusive practices, lying staff, mentally traumatizing, misprioritizing money. Mice, filthy, will be reporting to the AG. And all other resources so that they can be properly audited. Also filing a negligence lawsuit for serving old food that got my baby sick

I don’t know who runs this office, but they could do a lot better. Especially since they are suppose to be here for the community. Their effort is laughable.
