Happy Bamboo (Vietnamese Pho & Grill)

This was my first visit & I really enjoyed the intimate ambiance. The music was ethereal, & the vibe was quaint enough to have good date conversation. The owner was very accommodating, which made the experience even warmer. I ordered my favorite lemongrass pork vermicelli salad but received chicken instead. While I never order chicken, the meat was generously portioned, the veg's & noodles were fresh & flavorful, so i still enjoyed it. So glad I discovered this gem. I’m happy to patronize a small business like this & would gladly return to try more dishes.

Excellent orange chicken with crispy breading and tender chicken chunks. It's not a strong orange flavor but more sweet and a little spice.

We came in about an hour before close, they welcomed us in and let us pick our seats. We were attended to promptly and got our orders in. The chef came out to ask if I was aware of what I was ordering (beef pho with only tripe, since I love tripe and my kids also love it and always steal most of it from me). I kindly let him know we did know and appreciated him making sure we knew what we were ordering. They seemed quite delighted that my young children (7 and 10) were enjoying the tripe so much. Towards the end, my daughter tried a piece of jalapeño that I had added and had been sitting in the soup and had been diluted. This is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in an around Beaverton / Hillsboro area! We got an order of pot stickers that were crispy and tasty, then an order of grilled lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl which was very delicious! The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. We got a grilled Shrimp Skewer on the side. This is a must have at this place 😍😍😍 freshly rolled Shrimp rolls were amazing with the peanut sauce 😍😍😍 cannot recommend this place enough!! My family and I came here for the community Thanksgiving dinner. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Best customer service I've had in a very long time. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Food was awesome! Very generous serving. When we are able, we will definitely be coming back as paying customers. Thank you soooooo much.
