I ordered the vermicelii with beef and egg roll. I eat Vietnamese vermicelli a LOT, so I have an expectation. It came without egg roll, but they brought me one when I asked. The egg roll is all cabbage, not great. The beef tastes like beef and broccoli, like they already have all the beef seasoned for beef and broccoli and just throw it into the bowl with Vermicelli ingredients. They add broccoli to this dish too, so all the more and not your typical vermicelii bowl. It didn't have mint or basil but was covered with a mound of bean sprouts. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. They was no fish sauce, it lists as having sweet and sour sauce, but I didn't taste that either, just the beef and broccoli flavor. So... If you like the idea of a fusion between Chinese beef and broccoli (beef so
Very solid pho. This place was exactly what I was looking for. The broth stood out and was super tasty. I also liked the vibe of the restaurant and the travel and recipe videos on the screens. The service was quick and staff was friendly and helpful!
I ordered my meal to go, so I can’t speak much about the service or atmosphere. It’s a simple, small, family-run restaurant—not particularly charming, but welcoming enough. My order was a little late, which is understandable given how busy they were. The food itself was very good—honestly the best Chinese food in town. Great quality at a fair price. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and that’s why I’m giving them five stars.
Had the Dragonfish soup that was very spicy, very oily but extremely different from all the other dishes I have had there. Secret menu dish - not for everyone but I feel like that soup cleared away any confusion regarding my current state of mind. Must balance with rice to stay calm- an experience.
We dined in this restaurant tonight and everything was good except my steamed rice it smells sour. After verbalizing my concern, 2 restaurant staff asked me taste the rice from the rice cooker, I said no, my concern is what you served me, then, rhe female server was loud and asked me to asked their customers but I said no, its what was served to me not the others. She mentioned about pay, we paid without tip. Poor customer service.( When the cook offered a rice testing from the rice cooker, the pot is still full/ maybe newly cooked and pinched some rice with his fingers for testing. Gross.)
