Happy China II

Our caterer for our rehearsal dinner didn't show up without warning, so our entire church worked to piece together an incredible rehearsal dinner and Happy China II was a BIG part of that! One of our church family members went to order from them on the fly and they CAME THROUGH! We had three HUGE trays of Sesame Chicken (One was spicy and labeled), rice and broccoli and these MASSIVE egg rolls. Everything was prepared quickly and professionally and they even had great presentation! They were so sweet, kind, hospitable, and expedient. They're going to be our go-to Chinese place from now on. They're amazing. I wish I could do more than one positive review, but they have our business from this point forward!

Happy China (with God’s intervention of course) saved a Rehearsal Dinner from disaster. The original catering company was a no show. We had about 50 hungry people to feed at 7:30 PM on Friday evening and Happy China pulled together 4 large pans of food and a ton of egg rolls in 20 minutes! The food was delicious!

First the positive. VERY clean. Generous portions. Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Quick service. Very Good shrimp egg roll. Negatives. Dry chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken. My wife's Moo goo Gail pan was bland and so was her fried rice. We don't think we will return despite living Downtown Augusta while our house is being built.

The original caterer for my wedding's rehearsal dinner didn't show up. So a few members of our church decided to get what they could from several restaurants arounds, Happy China II being one of them. With very little notice, they were able to make us 3 huge trays of sesame chicken (one spicy, and two regular). They also managed to squeeze in fried rice, lo mein noodles, and HUGE egg rolls. All of our guests loved the food. In the end, we had a fantastic hodgepodge rehearsal dinner, in large part thanks to Happy China II. We will definitely be eating here again.

Not bad pricing. We got the Shrimp lo mein ( large ), chicken lo mein ( small ), and 10 “Chinese wings”. The shrimp lo mein fed myself, both my daughters, and still was some left over. Plenty of shrimp throughout which I was skeptical because usually you get a few on top at most places but this was filled with it!! Chicken lo mein was great, good flavor and enough for 1 person and still some left over. Wings were perfectly fried and far from small!! All the food was fresh and oh so good!! The order cost $31 but for 3 decent sized items I’d pay it again!!
