Happy Teriyaki Dupont

Out of all the teriyaki and sushi places in Dupont, I think this is the best one I have had. The teriyaki was super delicious and tender and soft, while also keeping a grilled and meaty taste. The sweet-and-sour and orange chicken were also pretty good. There’s lots of seats in here and there’s also a lot of menu options to choose from the entrance is located behind the shopping center though

I did get my food for pickup. The restaurant.was clean on the inside when I walked in. The lady behind the counter was bakery friendly. The presentation of the food is fantastic even for a to go order. The chicken is tender and perfectly cooked. The happy shrimp was really good. I would recommend this place.

This was my first time trying this place, and unfortunately it was a bad experience. I was served undercooked chicken (pink in the middle), which is completely unacceptable. I did think the food came out awfully fast. When my husband called to let them know, the woman on the phone gave him a hard time about issuing a refund and pushed for me to exchange it for other food instead. After being served undercooked chicken, I didn’t feel comfortable ordering anything else. When I brought the food back in person, she refunded me, but never apologized and acted like they didn’t even believe me (I even showed her the picture of the specific piece). Between being served unsafe food and the lack of basic customer service, I won’t be returning.

I came here thinking it was going to be another copy and paste Chinese / Asian restaurant I was completely and utterly wrong. This place highly exceeded my expectations, whenever I got the Generals Tso's chicken and the ex-husband roll I was completely and utterly mind blown. It was so good that I had to come back a few days later and got the spicy bulgogi and the ex-wife roll. Both times the food was absolutely spectacular and I extremely recommend this place to anyone that wants good quality food at affordable price. 😌👍

I was staying in the hotel just a 2-minute walk from the restaurant. I thought it was great having a Teriyaki spot this close to the hotel. The staff and people greeting you when you first walk in with very nice and friendly. I was able to browse a paper menu and one on the wall with pictures which is nice and helpful. I would stick with the traditional teriyakis as opposed to the other dishes. There is plenty of parking if you need but very convenient to the nearby hotels. The store is very clean and nicely decorated. I took my food to go each time but would have been more than happy to eat inside. A nice-size cooler with a selection of drinks. I would definitely recommend the chicken teriyaki to anybody in town.
