Happy Time Food Mart

Don't skip this spot! Holy smokes, the food is absolutely delicious and authentic! We ordered the jerk chicken (10/10), stew chicken (10/10), curry shrimp (10/10) yellow rice, rice and peas, cabbage and mac and cheese (unbelievable flavor)- this was perfect home-cooked, comfort food on a rainy, cold day! We will be back! Try it all, you can't go wrong. Service is quick and with a smile!

Jerk chicken is always a great choice. Sometimes the sauce can be spicy, however I love it. You can get it on the side. The sides are always flavored well. Absolutely do not forget the cornbread. It is hitting on all cylinders!! I've tried other things and I have no complaints here. They have Jamaican drinks as well. Stop in and give it a try I definitely recommend!

Everything was well seasoned. Even the rice. The stew chicken was juicy! It tastes like it was marinating. The green beans were perfectly salted. The mac and cheese looked good. I'm going to have to try that next time 👍🏽

I saw this place on TikTok and headed over the next day. I ordered a large portion for lunch (which was way too much food), . I ended up getting three meals out of it. Four pieces of jerk chicken (all thighs) a very large portion of delicious rice and green beans. The jerk chicken was a little strong, but it was really good and the baked the green beans were delicious. Its a small shop, not much on atmosphere but the people were friendly and they handle your order quickly. Price was fantastic for the amount of food I got. I’ll be going back very soon. I want to try their mac & cheese next time.

A hidden gem. My sister recommended this place and I was very happy with my oxtails and jerk chicken. The owner was very nice and gave me a healthy portion. Great authentic flavor
