Hardee's

Ok, so I know its just a Hardee's and I usually stick to pizza reviews but I had to write this review due to the staff. I was on the road and staying at a local hotel in Maccleny, FL. I had the urge to have a chilly dog. I looked it up online an realized I was right next to a Hardee's location. So I walked over and when I placed my order the nice young lady behind the counter informed me that they didn't currently sell the chilly dog at this location but that they were supposed to be bringing in back soon. So I got a classic chicken and a bacon cheese burger with fries. The young lady must have seen my disappointment because she took great care of me. They made my sandwiches fresh so everything was right off the grill and smoking hot. It might just be Hardee's but when it's fresh and hot i

Nice and clean interior and they now have Coke products. The prices are getting absurd and my roommate realized you do NOT get combos. Large drinks are now $2 but the cups got smaller. The new pulled pork cheeseburgeris good but expensive and as you can see from the picture you don't get much pulled pork. A second patty is $4. The pies are cheap and really good. Much better than a competitor across the street. Service exists but smiles and attitude are a bit lacking. The fries are still good but probably the most expensive single item per calorie.

My mushroom Swiss barely had anything on it. My large fry was barely a medium. The drink area was filthy. All the tables were dirty. And I couldn't understand what the employee was saying.

I came in around 2:30 three people behind the counter. One on the phone walking around one in the back part of the kitchen and the girl who took my order playing with her phone. I felt like I was interrupting her, she took my order which was a monster burger combo, told her I only wanted mayonnaise on it. Before she put the order through she ask if I wanted the cheese and bacon, I said yes then asked what all comes on it. She told me bacon cheese and mayonnaise, I said that’s how I want it. The order was put through. She then goes and makes my fries which sit there while the sandwich is being made. I figure they’ll be cold when I get them, I was correct, the sandwich is made and everything is bagged, I have to ask for unsweetened tea because they only have it at the drive through. I go sit

Had the breakfast platter. Very economical and yet so tasty. Slices of crispy bacon, soft egg omelette, fluffy biscuit and sausage gravy. And love love those tater tots with some ketchup. Ordered 2 apple pies for just $1! Very happy.
