HART'S FRIED CHICKEN

Went in for dinner last week after hearing mixed things from friends, and overall it was a solid experience. The place had a relaxed, neighborhood kind of feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. Our server was polite and checked in just enough without hovering. I ordered a burger with fries, and it came out hot and put together well. The flavor was good, not mind blowing, but satisfying. Portions felt fair for the price. The restaurant was fairly busy, so service was a little slow at times, but not frustrating. I’d come back again if I was nearby and wanted something familiar and easy.

The attendant took my order in the drive-thru. She was decent as far as taking the order. But the wait for my food was FOREVER!!! I appreciate that the food is hot out the grease but it shouldn't take that long to cook. Especially since the lobby wasn't full. I was there in the evening (around 7:50pm). I ordered gizzards (only) and a shrimp snack. Nothing massive. By the time I left there were 7 cars behind me.

If you're looking for Southern fried chicken and some good soul food this is the place. Chicken was a magical experience for my taste buds. The team behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly. Food came out quick and was hot. Get the spicy and thank me later.

The shift manager (Ivy) was very rude, very unprofessional, yelling at customers and we waited over 45 mins for 2 chicken tenders orders this was in the middle of lunch everyone in the restaurant had to wait over 30 mins on their orders because she is not management material ot fit to work in public. She does not need to be in a leadership role. I'm sure corporate will here from several of the customers in the restaurant today. The crew was great the food was great the manager does not need to be there at all with the way she talks to people. I ordered two tender dinners. Tasted like everything was fried in old oil and had a bad after taste. Rolls were stale. Meal was also too salty. I spent $20 and the food was not edible. I won’t be back.
