The food was good. One issue was that it was too crowded. We went after Christmas, and still almost all the tables were reserved. A good thing was that they took our order quickly, and the food was served quickly as well. There were lots of vegetarian options. The momo soup was not that good. They have relatively large portion sizes. They didn’t take tips. Overall, the taste of the other food was good. I didn’t like the atmosphere, but their quick service was top-notch.

Tried Hashtag India today and honestly came away pretty impressed. First thing you notice is the interior... bright, airy, and very spacious with marvelous modern lighting and lots of artificial greenery. The whole place feels fresh and lively rather than crowded. Even on a Monday lunch, there was a steady flow of diners, which says a lot about the place’s popularity. I ordered the Mutton Ghee Roast Biryani and a Special Falooda. The biryani portion was HUGE, easily 3-4 servings for me. Generous 5-6 good-sized mutton pieces, nicely cooked and tender. I chose medium spice and it was perfectly balanced. Indian restaurant in San Antonio. Ambience is good. Quick checkout process and helpful staff. Open until very late night in the weekends until 12am. Food served hot and fresh. Irani chai was good. Would like to visit again. Have a nice dining while in here.

What a fabulous place! The atmosphere is fun; if you want quiet, this is not your spot. They have Bollywood dancing & singing on the large TV screen. We were the only white people there which tells you everything. You order at the counter and then they deliver to your table. We LOVED the food. Do NOT miss the chai Irani! They clean the tables immediately after patrons leave. Everything was soooo good; too bad I’m from out of town, otherwise this would be a weekly habit. Oh…pay cash and you get a 5% discount!

We visited this place for the first time and really liked the ambience and service – both were on point. Coming to the food: • Chicken fried rice – decent, around 3.5/5. • Chicken frankie – tasty, I’d give it 4/5. • Chicken nalla karam – sadly, this one didn’t work for us (no flavour, quite bland), about 1/5. When I mentioned the chicken nalla karam wasn’t good, the staff were very polite and immediately offered another dish (don’t know the name) – it was better, around 3.5/5. Appreciated the service and the gesture to make things right.
