Hawkeye's New York Pizza and Pasta

Very nice New York style pizza place. Small establishment in a strip mall. Speaking as a native New Yorker this is a very close comparison to New York style pizza. The slices were nice and crispy. The place is clean. I highly recommend coming here. There is plenty of parking and the place is handicap accessible.

I got the penne alla vodka pasta and garlic knots to go. The penne alla vodka is a nice size portion, it was hot and tasted really good. It's got more of a marinara base as opposed to a creamy or cheesy sauce. It's a great helping of sauce, it coated every noodle, I know we all hate when they give barely any sauce as some places. The garlic knots were very good, it's a buttery garlic as you can see. The outside has a nice crispy, crunch to it while the inside was so soft, airy and pulls apart. I overall really enjoyed my food from here. I am inclined to try something new on the menu next time.

We were lucky to find Hawkeyes soon after moving to the area. Some of the best pizza I’ve had since leaving NY! Great food, easy delivery too.

We came in with less than an hour until closing, which we really try not to do, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The food was fantastic! I had the baked pasta and my partner had a calzone and they were were both amazing. The meatballs in the baked pasta were homemade and were very flavorful. I definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try the pizza! This is going in the rotation for local favorites, for sure!!

Great pizza and salad. Very nice workers and reasonable prices for the size of the pizza. Order in advance as the wait for pizza may be a little while.
