Hayner's Ice Cream and Country Store

I loved this place from the moment I walked in. The environment is welcoming, the products are great, and it truly feels like a business that cares about what they do and their community. I had the chance to chat with one of the owners, who was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, just a great experience all around. I’ll definitely be back.

Came to try their cider donuts and apple fritters. The cider donut was really soft and fresh with a light crisp. The apple fritters they thankfully made for me and had ready within a couple of hours. The fritters were good, just could of used more apple pieces in it. Will definitely come back in the future to try the ice cream here.

Great options for ice cream over at Hayner's. I've visited maybe three times as of this review and I'm never disappointed. The little shop to left of the ice cream windows is nostalgic for me. The wax candles, jarred jams and country decor remind me of vacations with my parents in Pennsylvania. If you want to try the soft serve, for the love of God just buy a kids size first. Unless you LOVE ice cream and that flavor, the regular is too much. Don't get me wrong, the amount of ice cream you get for the price you pay is unbeatable.

We are from out of town and found this ice cream place and store. We got the lava brownie sundae and apple dumplings sundae. They were both delicious. We also bought the maple bacon jam from the store which was also very tasty. The ordering was a bit confusing because the signs are small. Look up their menu prior to ordering. I didn’t realize they had multiple soft serve flavor options. Once you order you move over one row/window to pick up your ice cream. We will definitely visit again while we are camping in the area.

Ice cream is really good, better than most places around. Mum's were priced well, although they ran out as of 10/6 this year, not sure if they will have more? Lots of good pumpkins of all sizes. Great little store for general farm items like salsa, jam, trinkets, gifts etc. love this place!
