Haynie & Company

We have given our business to Mike at Haynie & Company for about eight years, for both our personal and business tax filing needs. They started out great, but then the last few years, they have been unresponsive, don't return phone calls or emails and when you finally reach them, they give one excuse after another about why they haven't performed what they promised to provide. Their lack of professionalism and communication and ultimately failure to file our tax extensions has cost us thousands of dollars in penalties with the IRS. Very disappointed in this establishment.

I have been going to Haynie & Haynie for 15 years. Everyone there is polite and will answer all my questions. Mike is fast and very efficient filing my taxes. I would recommend everyone to use them. You will not be disappointed.

I decided to use a CPA for our 2022 returns and chose Haynie and Co. because they were supposed to have expertise in 1031 exchanges. I essentially prepared everything needed to file in Excel with all supporting documents neatly catalogued. We received draft returns on the due date with no opportunity to review. The next day, I notified Haynie and Co. that one of our returns had been filed under an incorrect SSN. I also submitted additional questions about the 1031 filings (it appeared the properties had been improperly lumped together with incorrect basis amounts among other things). I contacted Haynie and Co. several times to get clarification on my concerns but never heard back. TLDR: I should have stuck with TurboTax.

SCAM! 22k was withdrawn from my account which they claimed was for taxes. When confirming my tax filing with the IRS they received $0. WHERE DID MY 22k GO?!?!

Personable, knowledgeable, and prompt. We love working with Mike and Kathy!
