Healdsburg Inn, A Four Sisters Inn

Expected a luxe experience given the location and reviews. Unfortunately was disappointed. And for clarity...I provided this feedback internally and received no email/call about it: Staff was very polite and professional when we came in contact with them. Location is great. Concerns that went unanswered: 1) Mold around the shower basin inside and out 2) Broken windows on the entry door coming into the bathroom 3) The room heater was not working, was not notified, had a space heater in the room but again...no notice about this. 4) TV settings were in Spanish and could not access the settings to adjust. 5) Happy hour was lovely! We did not stay at this hotel but stopped in to get some information. We were referred by someone who stays here frequently. When we walked in, the front desk woman was on her cell phone but tried to talk to both of us. While she was giving me feedback my husband said I am going to go to the restroom. As he walked off she jumped out of her chair and started yelling at him he could not use their restroom and needed to go to the Police Station around the corner. My husband told her we were not trying to "highjack" her restroom. I think she knew we were not pleased then she started acting very friendly and told her personal call on her cell she would have to call them back so it was not a business call obviously. We loved our stay at the Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza! The service was wonderful, with a delicious complimentary breakfast that changed daily and wine with charcuterie every afternoon. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat—just steps from fantastic lunch and dinner spots. A perfect Healdsburg getaway!

The Healdsburg Inn is situated in the historic downtown section of Healdsburg, CA directly across from the plaza, which is a nice green space in the center of town. The location is probably the best feature of this hotel as it is steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, wine tasting, bike rentals and transportation. It is also a short walk to vineyards just West of town. The interior is very nice, and appears to have been renovated in recent years, while preserving a historical ambiance. The rooms have high ceilings and gas fireplaces. The breakfast room overlooks the town plaza from its 2nd floor location, which we liked. The breakfast was not vast but ample. We had a great stay in this hotel. Very cute bed and breakfast. Our room was on the first floor, very spacious and clean.
