Heart O' the Hills Entrance Station

The campground host (the woman) has no empathy and is SO rude! We arrived late last night and couldn’t see where to register. After a horrible night with my husband who had a bad toothache, she came and knocked on the door. I got the registration card filled out but she wouldn’t take it. I explained to her that we were trying to find a dentist and she said she would call the ranger. Kindness wins but she lacks that! Zero empathy or compassion!! I guess she thinks her job is to hassle people!

If you arrive after 8AM, you’re not getting in. This is not how other parks admit people: instead of letting more people come in as people come out, this park chooses to completely close the entrance for the whole day after enough people are in. Weird and lazy management system. Again, not a problem to make people get there early but the fact that it closes completely is unnecessary.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff! They get the vehicles through very quickly.

Bought our pass there since the visitor center doesn't sell them. They only take credit and debit cards, no cash accepted. Process to buy pass was quick and easy. Employee was friendly and efficient.
