Heartwork Coffee

Asked about a dark roast and was told that wasn't an option, but the person handling my order was really nice and let me try their medium roast. It was great, so I ended up walking away with a large. As always with good coffee, I enjoyed it black. The flavor of the roast is what I'm after. If I want a dessert, I'll go get ice cream. This place almost always has a line when I walk past it. Now that I've tried it myself, I know why!

I was told by another barista to go check this place out. So glad we did. The coffee taste great. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We love the area driving to Heartwork Coffee.

This place is cute and has a nice vibe. The latte, unfortunately, was bitter, sour, and harsh like instant coffee. I might have just got unlucky, but another indicator that best practices weren’t observed: the coffee came out way too hot. Coffee has a lot volatile molecules that are responsive to temperature. I was expecting something a bit more drinkable for $7.

Love the coffee and service here. I tried their graham latte this morning and it was SO good.

I had a fantastic morning coffee at Heartwork Coffee this morning, this is why you will love it too: 1. The coffee is delicious. I really enjoyed everything about it. From flavor to the temperature. They know what they are doing here. 2. Fast service! We got out coffee extremely fast, once again San Diego knows how to make a great cup of coffee quickly. 3. Super friendly staff. My interaction with everyone here was fantastic and enjoyable. The staff seems to care here. 4. Danny DeVito. Overall, I would give this place a try if you have never been here before.
