Hempstead Public Library

As of today 12/27 google said the library was open when , in fact , it was not with workers inside. Workers are refusing to open the door it says it's supposed to be open from nine a m to 5 p m

The old cantankerous lady at the computer station should learn some manners. Don't take it out on taxpayers (paying your salary) because you hate your job. The heavy set Caucasian lady with grey hair should retire or just learn to hate her job a little less.

I would appreciate if the staff in the computer room would smile, offer assistance, and be friendly. The computer staff always have a chip on there shoulders. I don’t know what it is but it seems like they are always kind of arrogant. They will help you but in an unfriendly way. The front desk cashiers are like the only nice people in the library.

Very rude staff and they need new people it is a disgusting place and staff is so mean. They make issues and send you home instead of helping they want to do nothing and just take money.

Always clean. The front desk aren't always nice when entering especially if you need direction. Sometimes you have to let them finish talking about their personal business and will give attitude sometimes if you interrupt their personal conversation for getting that they are at work not on break. However the people that are in the Adult Computer Department, they are ALWAYS super friendly and very helpful. If I need help, what I like about this libary is that they don't give up fast to brush you off when they are having a hard time finding a solution. If they really cant help, they refer you to another near by libary. I really do appreciate the computer department and all that they do for us. Thank you.! 😉
