If you are thinking of buying an office under their jurisdiction, just Don't. This is hard to believe! This is the perfect image of Government in Action! I needed to do some alterations in my office and I was stupid enough to apply for permits! It's been over 4 month and I still don't have them! I am still paying taxes for a space that I can't use! There is nobody at the other end of the line that can answer your questions!

Herndon Public Works is awesome. Town services are timely, efficient, and the staff all seem friendly and happy to help. I take the time to speak and wave when I see them, so maybe it's a reaction to that. But I hear similar opinions and kudos from everyone. Snow removal is especially good. Roads are pre-treated, and once it comes the plowing is quickly handled, as many times as necessary. Plus, we get free large item pickup twice per year. How cool is that?!? Happy to live in this town.

The weather forecast called for snow and freezing temperatures on Friday yet on Monday 15 Jan. The roads had not been treated so the snow and tire tracks stayed frozen due to temperatures remaining in the low 30’s. The roads are dangerous.
