Hibachi Cafe

Best hibachi spot hands down in my opinion they’re the most consistent, give you a fair potion, and are transparent about pricing. It can be hectic at times but it’s worth it, especially if you call ahead because it’s much quicker. Employees are polite. They have the chalk board covered now, I do miss the chalkboard since it was super fun but it’s way more clear now to read. You guys are the 💣.

I’ve dined here in the past and it was delicious. I came here yesterday (5/27/25) to get some sushi since I was downtown anyway. I got 2 orders of the rainbow roll and it was so good 😋 I have one roll pictured.

Really solid, no frills hibachi/asian place. I tried 3 different sushi rolls which were surprisingly decent for the affordable price. I also had a combination hibachi (shrimp, steak, chicken). While the steak was fairly tender, the chicken was quite dry and chewy. The portion was very generous, enough for two meals. This is a solid place to go for a filling, quick meal.

The ambience is good. The menu is artistic. I loved the koi (taking a guess here) fishes painted on the wall. The staff are courteous and welcoming. The food was alright. I asked for steak (medium rare) with brown rice but received well done. What’s the point of asking how we want our steak cooked if in the end you want to disappoint us. Other than that everything is good. I also ordered pork gyozas and they were great. But maybe I wouldn’t come back here cuz I didn’t find the food too appealing. Overall 5/10

Great location, fair prices, and the food was ready quickly. Their fried rice was a 10/10. We got the sesame tofu, and although the sauce was good, the tofu had zero crispness. It was like chewing marshmallows.
