Hidalgo's Crazy Tacos

Pretty good authentic Mexican food here in Port Charlotte, albeit a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. Meal for 2 at lunchtime: Crazy Taco - beef tongue, $5.95. Crazy Taco - chicken, $5.50, comes wrapped with 2 corn tortillas for each one. Side of beans ($4.00) and rice ($4.00, which was $8.00 for the plate) x2 at $16.00. Regular taco - steak (I believe it was around $4 or so) Bottle water x2, $1.50x2 = $3.00. They don't offer free ice water. Total for lunch for two = $39.02 The service was awesome! Friendly people. We ate at one of 2 or 3 small tables available. My guest and me thought the music was on the loud side. Food was not bad. Honestly, though, I would have been just as happy with Taco Bell at their elevated prices but still less expensive than this establishment. Our

Outstanding food amazing customer service and hands down literally the best torta me and my wife had and one was so big it was enough to feed us both. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT makes me feel like I’m at home. Thank you the the crew and everyone that served us.

We have been living around here for years now and we just discovered this authentic mexican restaurant. Food is actually very delicious and it reminded us the time when we visited Laredo, Texas. Loved the music! Loved the people who work here. Very kind.

Authentic tacos! Reminds me of my homeland, and by homeland I mean when I go on a cruise to Cozumel.

we have been there three times recently Service has always been professional and delightful. Food portions are very generous very authentic and delicious. The bierra quesadilla was amazing, tacos are delish and my husband loved the carnitas burrito. Heading there tonight.
