Higbie Bagels

Went to go buy breakfast and was rung up. Got 2 sandwiches and 5 mini bagels and I was charged $84.72. When I asked them why it was so high, they didn’t even want to look at why. I told them I wasn’t pay that amount and something seemed wrong. I couldn’t see it on my end but after the messing around on the computer on their end- it went down to $31. Absolutely insane they were going to charge that amount. And the staff there is rude, multiple times I’ve been there and they are all rude and act like you are annoying them.

Love this place for years they always have been great and still have it years later . Awesome breakfast the best Bagels.

The owner is beyond rude and nasty. She always has an attitude every time you talk to her and sometimes just blatantly ignores you. If you’re going to own a business that involves dealing with people, learn people skills. If not, don’t own a business where you have to deal with them.

Absolutely awful experience. The service was beyond slow and completely disorganized, but what really ruined it was the attitude of the front staff. Rude, dismissive, and acting like customers were an inconvenience instead of the reason they’re there. No apology, no accountability—just bad vibes from start to finish. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect or decent service.

Not only are the Bagels fantastic but the assortment of cream cheese choices are amazing. Love the West Islip colors on the special bagels. I really enjoyed the taste, texture and flavors of these bagels and had the opportunity to try the organic chicken soup that the chef made and it was incredible good and not too salty. My kids loved the bagels as well and especially the organic chicken soup. There is so much attention and work done to these bagels and cream cheese choices that I’m excited to come back for more. The prices are super reasonable and the quality of ingredients exceeds the value this spot charges. This Brooklyn born 45 year bagel eating native approves Higbie Bagels!
