Higher Grounds Coffee + Café

Tried this coffee shop for the first time since it’s close to my work, and I’m so glad I did! The vibe is great with both indoor and outdoor seating options, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. I ordered the freshly pressed orange juice—super refreshing and clearly made to order. I also had the grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough bread, and wow, the bread was perfectly crunchy and flavorful. On top of that, I got an açaí bowl topped with coconut flakes, peanut butter, and banana—super healthy and really hit the spot. The menu is packed with a variety of options, so I’m definitely coming back to try more!

This is one of my favorite go to places for lunch. Everything I’ve tried has been so good, and the iced honey lavender latte is amazing. The employees are always so so kind, they truly make this place the best. Thank you higher grounds for always coming through with great food, coffee & service!

I almost forgot this place was just down the street from my work. I had a nicely prepared chicken Cesar salad and an iced coffee to go. What's nice here is the large uncrowded dining area with lots of tables and seating choices. The service is fast and friendly. If they see you waiting to order another person jumps in to help.

I just had a tuna melt panini. it was delicious and dipping sauce on side was amazing!! it’s super clean. I haven’t seen a restaurant this clean in a while. I ordered a latte half decaf. which people do not like to do. it was excellent. The froth was perfect. FYI, it’s Kaiser Garfield Medical Center. and it has parking for customers.

I’m a regular, food, drinks, and service are always outstanding. Just had the pulled pork sandwich special and you all knocked it out of the park. Amazing meal. Hope to see it added to the rotation. -Ted
