Dosa Hutt – Hillside Yesterday we visited Dosa Hutt on Hillside, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We ordered masala dosa, chole puri, vada, and idli, and every single item was absolutely amazing. The food was simple, authentic, and delicious, with great flavors that truly hit the spot. What made it even better was how much my nieces enjoyed the food—they loved it! The service was incredibly fast, and the staff was very efficient and welcoming. On top of that, the prices were very affordable, which makes it an even better choice for families. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving tasty South Indian food with great service and value. We’ll definitely be coming back! 😊

We had a wonderful winter Saturday brunch date at Hillside Dosa Hut, and everything hit the spot. The vada was absolute perfection—crispy on the outside, fresh and fluffy on the inside, paired with yummy chutney and sambar. My husband always orders extra sambar when we come here, and that says everything 😄 We also enjoyed a delicious dosa and a perfectly made masala chai, which was especially comforting on a cold day. The service is friendly, welcoming, and truly guest-centric, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and consistently serves delicious food. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors and a warm, pleasant dining experience in Queens!

I had to update this review. It had been awhile since I last visited. I had really enjoyed it the last few times. Just a huge note for people who do not like coconut. Some of the dosa have coconut, please ask the staff so you are not surprised. My worst dosa experience to date was here. I definitely won't be visiting here again.

It is truly a gem! I’ve tried dosa at many places, but theirs has the best taste by far—crispy, flavorful, and made fresh. Their papri chaat is also amazing, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering, better than anywhere else I’ve tried. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for such delicious food. On top of that, the customer service is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s rare to find great taste, affordable prices, and excellent service all in one place, but Hillside Dosa Hutt has it all!
