Hip Hop Fish & Chicken

I got the soul side special. The Mac n cheese was honestly an embarrassment. It was more oil than cheese. The sweet potatoes were alright, not bad but not great. The chicken was amazing, lots of meat. The fries were great also, the seasoning on them is amazing. I won’t be ordering the Mac n cheese again. I want to try their collard greens next.

First let me start by saying, eating here got me extremely sick. Even as I was looking around paying for my food maybe 2 hours after they opened the entire kitchen was just dirty. Food, breading, flour everywhere. Baskets of cooked fries and fish just sitting over the oil waiting to be refried. And the two gentlemen who helped me were rude and seemed very nonchalant to be working there. I’ve worked in fast food for a few years and I know there’s usually a bit of cleaning that needs to be done overnight and in between rushes. Especially for an open eye view kitchen like this location. But the way it looked I wouldn’t be surprised if the dishes were dirty from the night before. I ordered chicken, fish & gizzards. Staff is always friendly. The food is always good, except the mac and cheese. It's been WAY too salty on different occasions. I love their fried fish!!

I usually order the 20 piece chicken tenders. They are delicious are perfect for a quick family dinner! We love the seasoning and the hot sauce. All the employees that have ever helped me are polite and respectful. It always looks clean.

It's been a minute since I last had HHFC. On this instance, the seasoning was fantastic! The portion sizes were great too. Lastly, the fish design is always adorable.
