Hipico Rooftop

My New Rooftop Crush in Arcadia! I wandered up to Hípico, the rooftop bar at the new Hilton Arcadia, and within seconds I was thinking, well hello, new favorite hangout. It’s stylish, cozy, and just the right amount of fancy without trying too hard. They’ve got fire pits flickering, space heaters humming, and blankets ready to wrap yourself in — basically everything you need to pretend you’re in a chic winter getaway… while still being five minutes from home. I only did a little scouting mission this time, but I’m already plotting my return with friends in tow. Drinks, views, and blankets? Yes, please. Arcadia, you’ve outdone yourself with this one.

Tried out this new bar and restaurant on the rooftop of the Arcadia/Los Angeles Hilton. Great service and tasty food. I recommend the Octopus appetizer and Gobernador Tacos! The sunset views are great of the nearby Santa Anita racetrack.

Had a glass of wine and watched the sunset on a Saturday afternoon.

We recently had a reservation for 6 at 5 PM on a Saturday and were seated right away. Hipico had only been open for about a month when we visited. It has an open rooftop space with lots of cozy spots to hang out, and they do offer blankets, but it gets pretty cold once the sun goes down so I'd still bring a jacket. The sunset over the Santa Anita Park was really pretty and easily the highlight. We ordered the Guacamole, Shishito Peppers, Sweet Heat Wagyu Burger, an off-menu Arcadia Wagyu Burger, and the Pork Kimchi Flatbread. Service was good and the food was decent, but it felt pricey, especially for the area. I'd come back for the views though and would be curious to check out their happy hour.
