Delicious Chinese food and friendly service! We order every Sunday and it's awesome every time. We get the sechuan beef, house special sechuan lo mein and chicken fried rice. The beef and broccoli, wonton soup and egg rolls are great too. Thank you Ho Wok ❤️

This place is a veritable cornerstone of Pasadena and a hidden gem. They’ve been around for decades and have some of the best orange chicken you’d ever care to taste. It has a somewhat “hole in the wall” atmosphere but that’s what makes it special. Anthony Bourdain would have loved this place for the no-frills food. Just a solid family run business serving exceptionally yummy chicken dishes. I can’t speak to the seafood options but I don’t think that’s meant to be the star anyway. As to the pricing- Pasadena is something of an old school community. It’s highly blue collar in most areas and many folks just haven’t come to terms with inflation yet. Fast, always-pleasant service and delicious food!! Have been going for years. A great option that’s easy to get to on Mountain Road. Highly recommend!

Almost $17 for “seafood of the house”, and that includes 3 breaded shrimp that are mushy, 1 scallop (the foulest I have ever tasted), and 2 pieces of lobster. With a variety of unpleasant vegetables, ungodly amount of slimy mushrooms. I can deal with a mixup on food or a mistake but this was just the restaurant being cheap. More worried about saving a few dollars then give someone what they paid for. If I could give this -2 stars, I would. If you want your hard earned money to be wasted, then I guess go here.

Man, this place is insanely expensive for what you receive. I ordered the large sesame chicken for $13.25 and they gave me 8 pieces of chicken and a couple pieces of broccoli and the tiniest container of white rice I've ever seen. (See photo) Really sad. The food is so tasty and I love the all white meat policy but man, their portions are messed up. 8 pieces = large? I wonder what small means....
