Hocco The Indian Kitchen

Food was good. Portions were a little too small for the price. We ordered the cheese butter masala. It was very good. The naan was soft and buttery. The biriyani was good too, more of a pulav feeling but still tasted delicious. Mango lassi was good too. Food we had absolutely no complaints. The food we got was good and will definitely try more dishes. Our only complaint was that for the location the restaurant is too small, there’s hardly any seating area and we found a table only when people were leaving. I’m excited to try more items in the future.

This place is such a cozy little gem, clean, welcoming, and playing Bollywood music in the background. It’s small but manages to seat good number of people, and the staff greet you with genuine smiles and help you through the menu if you’re unsure. We’ve visited twice now, so a review felt necessary. On our first visit, we tried the Amritsari chole and Tandoori chicken appetizer, and even got a complimentary moong dal halwa was such a sweet gesture. The food arrived in about 10–12 minutes, and everything tasted spot-on for North Indian flavors. Juicy chicken, flavourful chole, soft bhaturas, and thoughtful paper-bowl serving. Tried this place for both lunch and dinner, and everything was consistently great. The dum biryani was flavorful and well-cooked with just the right amount of spice. Butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the desi chicken had a nice, bold taste that really stood out. Even the fries were fresh and crispy, which was a nice bonus. Portions were satisfying and the food tasted fresh each time. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Hocco Indian Restaurant in Mason, Ohio. Although it is a fast-food style Indian restaurant, the quality of both the food and service was outstanding. We ordered Lamb Galouti Kebab, Pindi chole, Corn chaat, and Garlic naan, and each dish was prepared fresh with rich, authentic flavors. The naan was soft, flavorful, and complemented the dishes perfectly. I was also very impressed with the generous portion sizes and the lovely, stylish containers, which made the presentation appealing and convenient for takeaway. The staff was courteous, efficient, and very welcoming, making the experience pleasant and smooth. My goal this year was to go out and try new things. I wanted to try indian food but never really knew too much about it. I found this place and i gotta say it really lives up to its rating. Its a nice cozy atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. SERVICE: The cashier was super nice and helpful when i explained it was my first time ever having indian food. He walked me through my options and what tastes the best. He did a great job keeping my spice tolerance in mind. So as far as service it was TOP-TIER! FOOD: The food here is phenomenal. I got the Korma curry with Lamb and a side of garlic naan. The food was out quickly and was very very good. The curry gave the feeling of a warm welcoming home. The flavor blends so good, i really enjoyed it with the garlic nann. I cant wait
