The chicken wings here are probably the best in the area. They’re crispy without being overcooked, and the Jack Honey BBQ sauce has just the right mix of sweetness and mild spice. The happy hour deals are great — $5 beers. The Bang Bang Shrimp is also nicely done, crispy with a fresh, tender texture. You can tell they use good ingredients. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a hidden gem and a great place. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the waitstaff and food was fantastic. The coastal quesadilla was unique, but deliscious!

HoCo Brew Hive in Ellicott City, MD, is a fantastic spot for great food and drinks. Their Monday $1 wings deal (with a 20-wing minimum) is a steal, and the garlic parmesan wings pack a punch with bold flavor and just the right amount of spice. The Hive Fried Chicken sandwich is nothing short of spectacular—crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor, truly "awesomeness on a bun." Even the fries stand out, seasoned to perfection and full of taste. Whether you're here for the wings, the sandwiches, or just a great atmosphere, HoCo Brew Hive delivers every time! The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

Excellent local hangout with above average beer choices and elevated bar food without being pretentious. Very cool!!

Food was good and service was fast. The vibe is a mix of dive bar and local hangout. Not really my thing, but it is a good representation of HoCo.
