Interesting spot in the cool springs area. They’ve got the pulled pork nailed down and similar to a Texas operation there’s a giant smoker right behind the prep line. Wide selection of meats being smoked. I enjoyed the pulled pork, sausage and turkey the most. Enjoy.

Was in town for a day visit and was hungry for brisket and from I remember their brisket is amazing… My first mistake… I didn’t order the brisket. I decided to order the brisket bowl instead. Sounded good…. And it was gluten-free. I quickly regretted my decision and as you can see left most of it. Too many competing flavors and only a few bites of brisket. Wouldn’t order again but would return for my original choice. Brisket. If you like bbq do yourself a favor and try Hogwood’s.

Had lunch with my husband and five daughters today! I have a habit of looking at the menu before we arrive at any establishment. Their menu was up to date and accurate to the one at the restaurant. (Bonus points to the young man at the register who looked at my phone and accurately ordered everything that I had in my cart!) we had brisket nachos, pulled pork nachos, a brisket sandwich meal, banana pudding, chocolate chess pie, chili, potato salad, and grits! Our littlest children ordered mac n cheese bowls (heads up, they sprinkle "Piggy Dust" on top but can omit, as some babies find it too spicy) Everything was fresh, filling, and mouth-watering. Best food I’ve ever put in my mouth fast and very friendly service barely sit down before the food was there whoever the manger of this store is definitely doing something right everyone there was happy and helpful overall wonderful atmosphere

We had Hogwoods food truck come out to our hotel for our 63rd family reunion. The ribs were absolutely AMAZING!!! Fall off the bone tender with and excellent smoky flavor. Fabulous customer service as well.
