Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bonham by IHG

I’m so impressed! Even with a hotel full of construction workers (for local projects, not the hotel itself) the staff are working hard to keep it clean! Both the evening and the morning front desk personnel were friendly and helpful, as well as the person in charge of breakfast. The only thing that would improve the hotel would be walk in showers in the handicap accessible room. Rarely can an older person step into a bathtub and I traveled with my mom, who is 83. That being said, the bathroom has a copious amount of assistance bars and places to hang towels and clothes. The breakfast has an excellent array of options. We will definitely stop here again the next time we’re in the area!

The hotel and grounds are clean, groomed and the staff are friendly. There are more employees at this hotel than a property four times its size. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the shower was awesome. |The cons being that the lobby, breakfast area and the breakfast itself smelled of cigarette smoke. While drinking coffee, the attendant went outside to smoke with the front desk lady MULTIPLE times. To play it safe, I decided to take a cinnamon roll upstairs but they had been removed. Asking the attendant about more, she said " I had to throw them away". About that time, an employee with pink and blonde hair comes out of the kitchen with a whole tray of cinnamon rolls and takes them to her car. You just can't make this up.

Best Hotel I have stayed in in years! Yes they are doing renovations, and the pool is closed because of it. I see all the reviews complaining about the renovations but you got to realize a business still has to run to make the money to pay for renovations. And they have done everything possible to make sure the renovations don't negatively impact either guests stay. And if you want to know if the pool is open or closed call and ask. They are super helpful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! And the rooms! Clean,comfy and everything works! The bathroom to fantastic as well! Clean shower, the soaps smell great, spotless towels, and I love the mirror. We stayed a little over a week and they were absolutely fantastic! Thank you all for a wonderful

The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, and the front desk associate sabrina, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, especially since our decision to stay in Bonham was spontaneous and we had arrived completely unprepared.
