We have been going here for years and their cakes are always great! The icing is delicious and the cake is nice and moist

Went in to pick up a cake, they only had it in raspberry on display but the employee said I can order the same style in chocolate, and it would take 20 minutes. Ok fine, I offered to pay for it and come back in a couple of hours, then worker tells me ,"we don't take orders". At this point I'm confused....I can order it and wait 20 minutes (for a cake that no way will take 20 minutes to make), but can't pick it 2 hours later? So fine I'll wait, get a few more items, gets better the employee starts riduculing me to the other worker. No b.s. My wife looks at me, and I tell her to put everything down, we walked out. The nerve to mock paying customers in front of other customers is absolutey disgusting and disrespectful. We went straight to Mother Mousse and gladly spent over a $100, oh wel

I only left 1 star just so I can leave a review, but they don't even deserve the 1 star. My daughter went there to get me a custom birthday cake and they put the wrong age on the cake. They offered no solution and no type of financial adjustment for their error THEY did on the cake. They told her, nobody would notice that the wrong age was in the cake. Are they freaking kidding me!!!? How will i not notice that the wrong age is on the cake? They were very rude and refused to do anything about the cake. My daughter walked out of there without a cake for me and had to purchase a ready made cake at another bakery. With all the hype holtermans bakery gets for being in business so long and being the best local neighborhood bakery on the island, you would think they would do something to live up

We bought each variety of the fruit pies..Apple, blueberry and lemon. The taste was average at best. Very little filling in each pie..you did not taste the fruit at all. Disappointing! The cookie with the chocolate coating and the jelly filling was stale tasting. The oatmeal raisin cookies were terrible. There were very little raisins in the cookies and they were sorry, hard, stale tasting and very little flavor that we threw them out! Overall this was a horrible experience for what we paid. It was a waste of our money!
