Ordered on ubereats. Burger listed for 14 dollars. Looked nothing like the pictures they have on the app. They used mini buns for a 14 dollars burger. Thought the taste will make up for the portion size. DID NOT TASTE GOOD!
I ate the spicy Holy chicken with avocado and Taro milkshake! OMG I am hooked! My son, selective eater, went for the classic burger and fries! Can’t wait to come back on Throwback Thursday for their special combos and prices!
Fries – Honestly, amazing. Super crispy on the outside, soft inside, and salted just right. Exactly how fries should be. Onion Rings – Crispy and decent in flavor, but they tasted a bit too oily for my liking. Beef Burger – Greasy in a good way. Juicy patty, soft bun, and flavorful sauce (a little salty, but not too bad). Solid option. Chicken Burger – This was hands down the best thing I had. Juicy, tender chicken, soft bun, and overall great flavor. Highly recommend. Chopped Cheese Burger – Tasted good, but super greasy and way too messy to enjoy properly. Not bad, just hard to handle. Chicken Tenders – Surprisingly soft and juicy. If you're not in the mood for a full burger, these are a great alternative. --- Overall, Holy Cow is a strong halal spot in NYC. Some items hit harder
The food is pretty decent, nothing to rave about. There was an issue with payment though. The employee mistakenly charged us using their “online ordering” menu prices which took the total over 10 usd extra. After inquiring he did fix the issue and gave a refund. Not a terrible experience, you get what you pay for.
Employees don’t really know what they are even making so it’s pointless to even ask them questions about the products. I don’t blame them because this seems more of an upper management responsibility to educate employees. 6 sliders and a small pinch of onion rings for $32 The sliders were terrible, I couldn’t even finish 1. It’s all basically just microwaved tv box food. The sliders are smaller than the palm of my hand, even smaller than donuts from dunkin. Would not recommend at all. For the price you’re going to end up paying, there are much better alternatives in the area.
