A spiritual experience just walking in the door. The newly restored iconography is breathtaking. This is a welcoming Parish.

I've been visiting Pittsburgh Greek festivals for years, but this was my first time at Holy Cross. We normally go to Holy Trinity in the north hills due to its size, selection, and proximity to home, but I must say this rivaled it! It's the only other one I've been to with loukoumades (greek donuts), plus they had real greek soda and a metaxa sour mixed drink. My cousin and I split souvlaki and rice, greek fries, and ordered both drinks. Everything was delicious and authentic compared to what I remember from my Greek study abroad trip. Afterwards we visited the gift shop/market and bought cute pasta shapes and snacks. The two ladies working there were very friendly and helpful as we both talked about our experiences and love of all things greek, haha. Unfortunately we missed the church to

Beautiful church. Stunning interior. Went for Food Festival. Excellent food and such nice people. Really made me welcomed and felt very Greek.

Very nice, very pretty Greek Orthodox Church. Was here for a Greek food festival which was excellent. I toured the church and it was very nice. Lots of beautiful iconography on display. The event center where the food festival was was nice also. All in all a great experience! Update: I was back for another Greek food festival in the fall of 2023. I was here around lunchtime 12:00-ish. (They opened the festival at 11:30AM.) Awesome food quality again! Thank you Greek food vendors! On this day was glad I came early, I heard from a friend that said it was packed busy later in the day. If nearby, I would definitely recommend heading to the food festival.
