Home Run Inn Pizza

It was a nice quiet place to eat. The food was delicious. I love the strawberry salad. It was quite tasty. So was the pizza it had a nice buttery crust quite a change from other pizzas.

First impression from the cashier that took my order was the highlight of the whole interaction. Other than that the quality of the food could have been better. I ordered for takeout and Half of the pizza was burnt & they made my wings so much earlier than the pizza that by the time I got home to eat the food the wings were cold. I understand they are appetizers, however. Since they are to go I would assume they would make the wings a bit later so the pizza and wings would be hot together.

Let me start off saying....my opinion, my opinion, my opinion. I am a loyal Home Run Inn fan. I am a native and have been eating eating and loving their pizza for decades. I buy frozen, fresh and dock. If you know you know. With this looonnng disclaimer the deep dish pizza is just okay. I was hopeful but nothing beats their thin crust. I will say it's worth a try. Their perfect pizza sauce is the shining star. However the cheese which makes a deep dish doesn't hit the spot for me. On another note the turkey pepperoni is the business!! And if you haven't had the cheesy garlic bread, I believe you have cheated yourself.

Quinton did his thang! I really appreciate him and he was very attentive. Made sure everything was good and everything was fast and smooth. He did an AMAZING job! 10 stars in my book!

I really like Home Run Inn pizza but they are generally always slow. The pizza and bone in wings are always good. Salads are huge and filling, no matter the small or entree option, but i never understand why the chicken for the salad is always a longer wait than the regular wings. The waitress never came back to bring more water, but since she gave us an extra pop, I guess that was acceptable.
