Customer Reviews
Delicious ice cream with fruit flavors blended with ice cream on demand. The flavors can be made a bit more stronger. Love the eco friendly attention. We got the cacao nibs and the Shikuwasa(japanese orange).
I was looking up ice cream spots near me during a stay this past week and saw all the glowing reviews and knew I had to try it. Went yesterday a few hours before my flight home and it did not disappoint. I had guava and passionfruit in sweet cream and it was fantastic! So so good. Owner was friendly and nice to chat with :) I only wish I could have tried more flavors but not a bad problem to have ;)
Hot, sweaty and you need something cold and refreshing? Try Homegrown Cone! It's a smooth, creamy alternative to shave ice. They use locally sourced fruits, and mix it up fresh. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. It is similar to soft serve, but far less sweet, more creamy. Excellent on a hot afternoon. It's a new place, definitely worth the stop.
Finally had the chance to try Homegrown Cone. Their ice cream is fresh made, according to whichever your flavor you want. You can choose if you want a dairy or non-dairy (coconut) base, then choose 1 or 2 of their flavor offerings for the day. You can also choose from a single or double serving. I tried the Kona Lime and paired it with their coconut ice cream base. Just tart enough for me, and I could still taste both flavors at the same time. It's a little expensive, but worth it.
We had apple, banana, and calamansi, which surprisingly balanced each other out. We love it so much, so we came back for another one. Highly recommended to give it a try if you are in the area.
