Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen

We had originally planned to hike in the area, but it was a dreary day so we found sought some ice cream to cheer us up. So glad we stopped in . There is a such a great selection of homemade ice cream and cakes . The ice cream was delicious and full of flavorful. The staff were cheerful and helpful. We can’t wait to go again to one in our local area .

Our daughter turned us onto the Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen for some seriously amazing pies and cake during our latest visit to Louisville. I got the Chocolate Cake with Buttercream Frosting which was dense rich and delicious. My wife got the Dutch Apple with caramel topping and my daughter a Coconut Cream Pie which were also rave-worthy. We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Tasty and sweet baked goods. We got a slice of chocolate cake with butter cream frosting, banana pudding, and Dutch Apple Pie. All items were worth the stop.

Ordered a brownie, chocolate chip cookie, strawberry cake slice, and cookie monster. Total for all four was $18, pretty reasonable at bakery standards. Review Insights -Strawberry cake was the favorite, the icing is sweet, however the cake is not very sweet at all to contrast. 8.4/10 -The brownie has a good texture and the icing reminds of the old school high-school cake icing (in the best way!!) 7.8/10 -the cookie monster icing was a bit much but not too bad like great american cookie double doosies. The cookie is soft and overall great for a sweet tooth or carb day!!! 7/10 -The chocolate chip cookie could do without the chocolate drizzle as the cookie itself is perfect with the brown butter and semi-sweet chocolate chip flavor/ratios. 7.5/10 (Ratings based on all other similar items ev

This location is like walking into a blast from the past. The interior is comfy and cozy looking. The staff is super friendly and the pies they make tasted spectacular. I can't wait to come back with my kids. It is a great site down shop that can 100% satisfy your sweet tooth craving.
