We booked a Triple Room with a private bathroom and when we arrived it was a room with one bed and no private bathroom. We contacted the property manager and his response was that no such room existed on the property but he offered to refund us the whole trip or a partial refund for each day. He admitted that they "missed it conpletely" in our message back and forth. He offered to refund the difference and we said yes. We were moved to another room the next night that was a Triple room i.e. a full bed and a camping cot. At the end of our stay we asked how he would be refunding us and how much. He said that it was $60 and we sent out venmo. In the same message he requested a 10 star review and stated that we would be refunded no matter what. That was on Saturday and it wasn't until Monday t

I booked a 3-night stay through Expedia at Homestay BnB Near Boston for May 29, 2025, to attend my son’s graduation — a once-in-a-lifetime family milestone. I had booked two back-to-back reservations well in advance in January, knowing Boston would be crowded during college graduation season. The total was $405.49. Just a few days before the trip — on May 20 — the property owner called me out of nowhere after the cancellation deadline, not to welcome me, but to demand that I cancel the reservation. I hadn’t asked for a cancellation. While I was driving, I asked him to call back. When I returned his call, he claimed my two bookings were for different nearby properties (which I said was not an issue). But instead of resolving anything, he became increasingly aggressive, rude, and controlling

My experience was simple fast no issues what's so ever. the property is well maintained everything is clean and organized rooms are decent size . Simple rules to follow if you are a decent human. I don't think you'll find a better deal in Boston. Thank you Dan place is awesome. Hope to do more bookings in the future!

i was sent a confirmation email that said i had to cancel within 24 hrs 20 hrs after i booked and when i needed to cancel i was only given half a refund. i called him to inquire about a full refund and was met with a very nasty attitude. All he had to simply say was that i needed to call Expedia but he was instead very condescending.

Owner was very hostile over the phone and not helpful at all. You will be sharing an apartment WITH HIS KIDS while you're there, like how are you comfortable renting a place to strangers where your kids will ALSO stay??? A lot of rules are really weird as well, u can see some that are attached--- there must be cameras everywhere because how will you know about such specific stuff? Men, don't forget to sit when you pee!
