Hometown Grill and Buffet

This place is awesome. The buffet is very big. Snd after you fill up your plate your waitress will ask you how you want your steak cooked. Yes....a 4 to 6 ounce steak comes with the buffet. There is a salad bar and ice cream machine. Friday buffet includes fish, shrimp, oysters and other seafood. It is a fantastic place to eat!!! I highly recommend it for anyone in or passing through the Staunton, VA area!!!

Very nice experience. We were there for lunch, and both had the buffet, which was simple, inexpensive and tasty. The service was phenomenal - super courteous, with great timing. I don’t like catfish - but theirs was GREAT! It’s a little dim, but honey and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings!

Delicious food! After a long time without buffet dining due to the pandemic, I really enjoyed this experience. The baked crab, steaks, fish fry, and several dessert items were especially tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and followed pandemic safety protocols. • The steaks were absolutely delicious. • There is generous parking available. • Buffet price: $13.99.

The pinnacle of a local hometown diner feel! Staff were incredibly nice and prompt, and the buffet was wonderful! Would not recommend the baked chicken, but the fried chicken more than makes up for it with fall-off-the-bone juicy goodness! And the best part? The buffet is only $10 for as many trips as you want! If you want some home style country cooking, I would be hard pressed to make a better recommendation!

Ate here yesterday. Had a large buffet meal for ten dollars. Ate mostly salad which was fresh and tasty. Had a spicy, breaded, fried fish which I also enjoyed. They also have an icecream machine and other desserts (puddings, cakes, fruit). It was a nice comfortable and clean place. They are having a big Thanksgiving spread today for $18.99 until 6pm. Sounds like a good deal. Should be fun.
